Études is a Paris-based brand that expresses itself through various types of media—ranging from men's fashion, all the way over to book publishing. By occasioning collaborations between talents from diverse, artistic backgrounds, Études enacts both as a driving force and reflection of the contemporary landscape. Its vision is the result of an ever-evolving union between cultures, methods and references.
Primarily focused on its clothing and accessories collections, Études also operates in book publishing and creative direction; at all times, faithful to its original aesthetic driven by art, photography and urban culture.
This season, Études continues its exploration of the city and its territories by settling on the rooftops of Paris. Parisian rooftops are recognized and appreciated aesthetically for their shapes, colors, and materials, but they are often difficult to enter and rarely accessible. Reaching these spaces without being seen is an adventure, and one can only access them at certain times, like at twilight. This fleeting moment when everything seems possible at dusk or dawn gives its title to the collection : le Crépuscule.
Initially coined by the creative collaboration between Jérémie Egry and Aurélien Arbet, Études was born at last in 2012 with the arrival of José Lamali. Situated at first in Paris and New York, the founding trio has enriched the brand’s identity ever since its conception by continuously inviting new talents to join along the way—calling into life a trans-disciplinary collective.
